Mystery Gifts are a staple of the Pokemon franchise and despite Pokemon Legends: Arceus being something of a spinoff from the main series, it too has the option for players to claim free items by typing in codes to their Nintendo Switch. So far, there are a few codes for players to redeem that give some pretty nice in-game bonuses for those still trying to catch ’em all.
Although Pokemon Legends: Arceus has received plenty of support already with its handful of mystery gifts and the Daybreak DLC, it’s unknown how long players can count on continued support due to the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 2022 release date. Since the Mystery Gift codes expire eventually, it’s best to grab them while you can as there’s no telling how many more will be released for the game.

How to Redeem Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Redeeming Mystery Gifts is simple as it’s done in-game. The one big thing to keep in mind is that to redeem them, you’ll need to have your Switch connected to the internet. Once that’s all taken care of by connecting through the Switch’s Settings app, start Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Open the Satchel by pressing up on the directional pad on the left Joy-Con. From there, you’ll need to navigate the menus using ZL or ZR until landing on the tab that says “Mystery Gift” on it. Once there, select “Mystery Gift,” then “Get with Code/Password,” and type the code in. Some gifts don’t require inputting a code, if you’re claiming one of those hit “Get via Internet.”
