The Outer Worlds: All Unique Weapon Locations Guide | Emerald Vale Region

October 26, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Get some amazing weapons — included an easy, powerful Unique LMG, in the first zone of the game. Here’s where to look.

Grab the best weapons in beautiful Emerald Vale.

The first region you crash-land on in The Outer Worlds is the struggling Emerald Vale — an area plagued by aliens and an army of marauders. This is where you’ll learn how to play, and get your very first tools of destruction. If you’re looking for the absolute best guns to grab early, there are some awesome choices here.

This is where to find Unique Guns — guns with special names that are multitudes more powerful than standard versions. My personal favorite is a gun you can grab right at the start of the game! Ol’ Reliable is a LMG that eats through ammo but shreds enemies. Find it in the monster nest northeast of Edgewater. If you’re sneaky, you won’t even have to encounter monsters.

Ol’ Reliable (Light Machine Gun): In the Primal Nest, next to a dead body in the canyon area.

Shock Stick (Riot Baton): Located in the Geothermal Plant, carried by the security chief’s corpse.

Maxwell (Impact Hammer): Sold for 3,000 bits at the Emerald Vale General Store.
