It’s been a good while before we got a Dark Alliance game. However, during The Game Awards 2019 we got our first reveal of a new Dark Alliance title. This is an action RPG series based on Dungeons & Dragons. With this first trailer we don’t get too much information thrown our way about the game. With that said, in the past, this series is typically enjoyed with up to four players as you venture into an adventure full of action, loot and enemies. There’s plenty of anticipation over this game already and is based off the iconic D&D adventures, you’ll have plenty of options to craft up your character stats. So far all we know is that players will have to face against the wilds of Icewind Dale.

Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories

  • Developer: Granzella
  • Publisher: NIS America
  • Platforms: PS4, NS, PC
  • Release: April 7, 2020
  • Co-op: N/A
  • Competitive Multiplayer: N/A

You may recall Disaster Report, it was a franchise that got its start back in the early 2000s for the PlayStation platform. Overall, this is an action-adventure game that follows players going through natural disasters with the goal focused on survival and ultimately escaping the area. A few years ago a fourth mainline installment was in the works before being scrapped. Originally, the game was decided to be scrapped purely due to the fact that Japan was going through the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. However, fans pleaded for the series to come back and that’s when development studio Granzella picked back up by delivering Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories.

The game is already available in Japan but it will soon be released in markets worldwide in April of this year. In this narrative, players take on a character that is visiting a large city for a job interview when a major earthquake hits. Now players must carefully maneuver around the area, helping those in need, making tough choices and attempt to get out of the way from hazardous areas.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

  • Developer: Ember Lab
  • Publisher: Ember Lab
  • Platforms: PS4, PC, PS5
  • Release: 2020
  • Co-op: N/A
  • Competitive Multiplayer: N/A

In a lot of ways Kena: Bridge of Spirits looks like an animated film something that you would see at the movies from Dreamworks. But it’s actually an indie title being developed under Ember Lab. The video game takes players on a journey where you follow a little girl named Kena, who is a Spirit Guide. Her journey in this game has Kena going to the sacred mountain shrine which is no easy task thanks to the hostile creatures and difficult environments you’ll likely have to endure. This is where her power of gathering small spirits scattered through the forest, known as Rot, that can aid Kena in a variety of ways. It looks like these spirits can not only offer powerful abilities but can transform the environment around her.
