Little Town Hero is a unique little RPG that comes from Game Freak. You’re likely familiar with that name as its the development studio behind the mainline Pokemon video game titles. Breaking away from Pokemon, the studio brought out a new RPG for the Nintendo Switch last year called Little Town Hero. Overall, the story follows a young protagonist that has a dream of leaving a village to explore, but the village is quickly taken in by monsters which leave our hero to go around the area entering combat with hopes of defeating the monsters in wacky turn-based combat mechanic.

It’s game that as mentioned already released for the Nintendo Switch so chances are you may have already picked up a copy if you own the platform. However, this year we’re supposedly receiving the game on the PlayStation 4. So far the title only has a specific release date attached to the Japanese market, but we may soon find the title also coming to the western markets as well.

  • Co-op: N/A
  • Competitive Multiplayer: N/A

Psychonauts launched all the way back in 2005 and in 2020 we should finally get the sequel. Double Fine is bringing out Psychonauts 2 will follow the events after the video game release, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin, where Raz and his gang had rescued the head Psychonaut Truman Zanotto. We know that the game will follow a story in which Raz discovers that the Psychonauts organization has been moving away from their original values and instead is working on more unorthodox research. The director behind the game, Tim Schafer, also revealed that more background information on Raz along with the curse will be fleshed out in this upcoming sequel.

As for the gameplay mechanics, this is still a platformer played in a third-person view. Controlling, Raz, players will have a variety of psychic abilities to aid them in their quest such as telekinesis to levitation. So far at the time of writing this, the game doesn’t have a specific release date attached quite yet though the developers are hoping to get Psychonauts 2 out into the market sometime in 2020.
