#4 Battlefield 1
Developed by EA DICE, the Battlefield franchise has recently taken a step back by taking players to World War One with Battlefield 1. The video game is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series and much like the past installments, Battlefield 1 is an FPS.
The campaign will have a few different characters from around the globe who will offer their story of the war though the game also features online multiplayer as well.
War is certainly not pretty and Battlefield 1 shows the grittiness and carnage that soldiers had to go through in order to survive. Though some would argue and say that the narrative campaign is a bit on the short side, gamers could spend countless hours on the online multiplayer game matches.
#3 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered
Call of Duty was always a massive franchise, but the series really shined with its release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The video game was a massive hit, so much so that it received a remaster years later for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
This is a FPS that took place in 2011, which was set in the future at the time of the video game’s initial release. Players take on the role of a variety of soldiers set during different areas of the war such as the United Kingdom, Middle East and Russia.
