If you’re unhappy with how your PS4 sounds in terms of audio, you can simply hook up a new soundcard into the system and pipe your audio through that way. You won’t even have to worry about managing your cables on your DualShock 4.
To do so, just pick up a USB sound card and plug it into your PS4. A number of gaming companies produce PS4-capable soundcards that can support the system directly, but you’ll be able to get away with using cheaper systems even without the certification, provided they connect through USB. They will work with both your mic port and audio port!
