Undertale, the indie RPG-adventure sensation, is finally on the PlayStation 4. There’s more than a few trophies added — there’s also a brand new room with a silly quest to complete. It’s all very irreverent and Undertale and if you’re hungry for trophies or just new Undertale content, we’ll share how to reach this super top-secret room. Welcome to the Dog Shrine.
Undertale is a unique RPG that’s all about sparing monsters instead of defeating them. You make friends with monsters during JRPG-like battles, dodging and weaving their attacks while probing their emotional weaknesses. The goal is always to spare these monsters, and learning the best way to “beat” them can be pretty tricky sometimes. The monsters are silly creatures, and the Dog Shrine is just another goofy joke in this light-hearted adventure — it’s going to take a long time to earn these trophies, so prepare your butt for lots of text.
How To Reach the Dog Shrine |15 Dognation Trophies
To access the Dog Shrine and unlock 15 “Dognation” trophies on the PlayStation 4 version of Undertale, follow these steps:
- Don’t kill Papyrus! Spare him, or you’ll be blocked off from the rest of this “quest”.
- Save up 350 gold. You’ll need it! Take the cash to Papyrus’ house in Snowdin Town.
- Donate to the Dog Shrine! Just keep donating and you’ll get all 15 trophies.
To find the Dog Shrine, return to Papyrus’ house after completing his boss fight and sparing him. When you interact with the refrigerator in the kitchen, the door will open and a dog (with a bone!) will run out.
Return to the kitchen to find that the fridge door is still open. Go inside to enter a whole new room — this is the Dog Shrine. Interact with the little gold box and select “Dognate” to donate some cash!
There are 15 “Dognation” levels of trophy you can earn. After each donation, exit and re-enter the shrine to see what new stuff has been purchased! It takes a lot of time — you have to drop 1G at a time.
For reaching Dognation Level 15, you’ll find tons of cool stuff in the shrine, such as…
- An inflatable mascot.
- A bigger shrine.
- A framed picture of a dog.
- A treat.
- A CD and boombox.
- A second framed picture of a dog.
- A little bit of rope.
- A dog food dispenser.
- An even bigger shrine.
- A sheet of white paper with blue paw prints.
- More rope.
- An official certificate (rejected).
- And the biggest dog shrine!
No, there’s no point. You don’t get any rewards — just 15 trophies for donating to the Dog Shrine. At least you gave your hard-earned gold to a worthy cause.
