It’s been rumored in the past, but now we can officially confirm that NetherRealm’s upcoming sequel to Injustice will also see a release on the mobile platform. The upcoming video game has been highly anticipated by fans of the original Injustice and since the first title also saw a release on both iOS and Android, it’s nice knowing that the sequel will follow the same pathway.
Ed Boon is the creative director for NetherRealm Studios, a development studio that is currently working on Injustice 2. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been teased and showcased with new characters that will be added to the game roster such as Black Canary and Swamp Thing. Now to put the rumors to rest, Ed Boon has taken to his Twitter account to officially confirm that the game will also have a port release for the mobile platforms.
So far there are not too many details regarding what gamers can expect from the mobile version of Injustice 2. Ed Boon simply states that there will be a brand new app with tons of new features, game modes, along with a new combat system.
