Nintendo Accidentally Showcases Nintendo Switch Developer Menu

February 1, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s what the developer menu looks like on the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo is gearing up to release their next big console release, the Nintendo Switch. As we inch closer to the launch date, more details and video footage of the Nintendo Switch are being uploaded online. One video upload from Nintendo was accidentally and showcased the developer only menu screen for the Switch console.

Not too much information was unveiled from this developer only menu, but it’s still rather interesting to witness. Apparently, the video footage was posted by Nintendo’s Portuguese YouTube channel where the video was meant to have additional gameplay trailers added into the Nintendo Switch display during a post edit.

A few screenshots were grabbed and shared on NeoGaf before Nintendo took the video down. From the footage, we see there are a number of settings feature such as battery life. Additionally, we noticed that the developer kits for the Nintendo Switch come packed with 64GB of internal storage memory rather than the standard 32GB internal storage that will be available in retail.

The Nintendo Switch console is slated to launch on March 3, 2017, worldwide. This is console handheld hybrid system where gamers can take their video games on-the-go. Upon launch, a bundle that will come with the console, dock, and Joy-Con controllers will set gamers back a total of $299.99. For now, take a look at the leaked developer screenshots from the Nintendo Switch console down below.
