Star Wars: Force Arena – Captain Andor Is The Best Leader | Hero Guide

January 17, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

On iOS & Android: Beat the competition with Captain Cassian Andor. His long-range blaster and trooper backup can make almost every battle easy.

Rebel Agent and hero of Star Wars: Rogue One, this rugged assassin might just be the best Leader of Star Wars: Force Arena. He doesn’t have a lightsaber and can’t unleash bolts of force lightning, but his trusty blaster is enough to crush opponents and destroy enemy turrets with ease. He might just be our favorite hero so far, and we’re going to explain why he’s the best leader.

Of course, depending on your playstyle, there might be better heroes suited to your tastes. Captain Cassian Andor is a long-range sniper that focuses on single targets for his attacks, but his range is what makes this hero special. While Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader look cool, they’re not so easy to use for beginners. Captain Andor is simple, straight-forward, and with the right card packs, completely unstoppable.

Why Captain Andor Is The Best | Hero Guide

Captain Cassian Andor (and K-2S0) are a powerful pair of heroes. In fact, Cassian might be the most powerful hero in Star Wars: Force Arena currently — and it’s all because of his outstanding range.

Cassian Andor’s long-range blaster variant is a slow-firing but extremely powerful single target attack. The range is insane — it beats turrets, and even enemy snipers.

Using the sniper variant, Andor can plink away at enemy Leaders, units, and turrets from a safe range. His special ability is slow to recharge (about 30 seconds) but it summons a pair of useful Rebel Troopers.

The trick to using Captain Cassian Andor is staying out of range of your opponents. Stack your Deck with Vehicles, Tanks, Wookies, and Turrets. Summon units to block enemies and shoot from a safe distance.

That’s literally all it takes to win with Captain Cassian Andor. Try to stay on the offensive so you have room to retreat when necessary. Block the enemy, watch their leader on your mini-map, and summon units before you’re trapped in close/melee combat.

Double-tap to retreat if you’re caught in a battle, and summon Air-Strikes to wipe out large groups of enemy units. Keep up the hit-and-run tactics, and Captain Andor usually stands on top of every exchange.
