Divinity: Original Sin II

Set centuries after the events of the first Divinity title, this upcoming role-playing video game will follow four Sourcerers who embark on a grand quest to take down Bishop Alexandar after he declares that all Sourcerers are criminals.
Players will be able to choose their character’s origin story, race, and states. Likewise, the game will allow small parties or even a single character play.
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

In this upcoming video game fighting title, Ultron and Sigma have managed to get their hands on two Infinity Stones and fuse themselves together. With a combined goal of ruling the worlds, they have merged the worlds of both Marvel and Capcom together.
By releasing a cybernetic virus to control everyone within both worlds, all of the heroes and villains of the now combined worlds must work together in search of the remaining four Infinity Stones.
LawBreakers

LawBreakers is similar to other hero based shooters available on the market. There will be a wide selection of character classes to choose from along with a variety of maps and modes. Players can expect a fast-paced action experience and one that is formed by famed developer, Cliff Bleszinski.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be the tenth installment in the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise. This time around, the game is set in Bolivia, where the rising power of drug cartels has become a concern to the United States Government.
To deal with this concern, the Government has sent in an elite special operations unit called “the Ghosts” to destroy the cartels. Unlike previous installments within the franchise, players will be set in an open world environment to explore and execute their given tasks.
Crackdown 3

Nearly a decade after the release of Crackdown 2, Reagent Games is bringing out the third installment, Crackdown 3. The video game doesn’t have too many details available quite yet though we do know that there is a big emphasis on destruction. Players will be able to destroy practically anything within the video game thanks to a Microsoft cloud computing platform known as Microsoft Azure.

Normally video game adaptations of movies are a bit sub par, but we have high hopes for the upcoming Friday the 13th: The Game. This is an upcoming video game title that heavily focuses on multiplayer gameplay.
Friday the 13th: The Game can support up to eight players, seven of which are camp counselors while one will take on the role of Jason Voorhees. There are two end goals to the game, the players will work together in order to defeat Jason while the main enemy player will search and slaughter the hidden camp counselors.
Currently, the video game will focus on the multiplayer aspect, though a single-player campaign is in the talks despite the Kickstarter campaign failing to reach the stretch goal supporting the development costs.
Star Wars: Battlefront II

There’s really not too many details available quite yet for the upcoming sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront. We know that the project is in the works and that there is plenty of aspects that EA will likely look at from fan criticism of the first installment of EA Dice. EA did announce that gamers can expect a campaign that will span across several movies, though it was not confirmed if we will see events from The Force Awakens or Rogue One
Gwent

After being a hit bonus game to play within The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, developers CD Projekt RED decided to develop a standalone title for the hit card game Gwent.
The title plays out similarly to the other digital card games available within the market today such as Hearthstone along with the physical card game, Magic: The Gathering.
Absolver

Absolver is a bit different than some of the other titles currently in this list. The video game is a martial arts-based video game from developers Sloclap, an indie studio formed by former Ubisoft Paris employees.
The video game fighting mechanics seems to flow rather smoothly and there appears to be free-roaming with a campaign. While we’re looking forward to finding out more about Absolver, news of players being able to customize their own fighting moves along with the ability to pair up with a friend in online multiplayer versus matches is easily making this title highly anticipated for the video game enthusiast who enjoys the fighting genre.
Nintendo ARMS

Arms is a fighting title released by Nintendo for their latest console hybrid release, the Nintendo Switch. Overall, players use their Joy-Cons to hit and block attacks against the opposing player or AI.
Similar to boxing, players must use their arms to knock the opposing enemy out. Luckily, you’ll have more than just your arms as the game focuses on mechanical extending arms that can be customized between matches.
Halo Wars 2

Halo Wars 2 is a RTS that is set in the year 2559 and acts as a sequel to Halo Wars, a title released back in 2009. Once again, the game follows a human crew on the UNSC warship Spirit of Fire. Likewise the game introduces a new alien faction known as the Banished.
The two groups soon enter war on the Ark, a Forerunner installation, where players will control their group in hopes to strategically overcome the enemy forces.
For Honor

Release Date: February 14, 2017
For Honor is an upcoming action hack-and-slash type video game. Within this For Honor world, factions of medieval knights, samurai, and Vikings meet up on a battlefield in one epic battle.
This being more of a fighting-based video game, there is a big emphasis on multiplayer where friends can jump online and battle in a series of modes such as brawls, skirmishes, and elimination type matches.
Quake Champions

Quake Champions was first introduced to the world during E3 2016 and from that debut trailer, it seems that id Software is looking to bring their own spin to the hero type first-person shooter genre. For the most part, there seems to be a wide range of characters with their own unique abilities and skills.
Though we’ll have to wait and see just how well Quake Champions compares to video game titles such as Overwatch, there is already an interest in the title from gamers as this will be the first main entry to the Quake series since 2005’s release of Quake 4.
What is worth pointing out is that while Quake Champions has been confirmed for a release on the PC, developers have announced that they are not ruling out a release for console platforms just yet.
Call of Duty: WWII

The Call of Duty franchise as of late has been focused more with futuristic gameplay. That however will change with Call of Duty: WWII as developers are bringing the title back to its roots. Players will follow a squad during 1944 to 1945 in the European theater of conflict.
Outside of a single-player campaign set in the second World War, there will be the ever popular zombies cooperative game mode attached as well.
Destiny 2

Release Date: TBA 2017
Destiny was met with a positive reception from critics and fans alike and now we are gearing closer to its official sequel release. While we’re still awaiting news regarding the title, developers Bungie had confirmed that Destiny 2 will be releasing at some point in 2017.
With the sequel release, it will be interesting to see if past characters from the original Destiny installment will carry over. Likewise, perhaps we’ll find more lore, explore bigger open world environments, along with new multiplayer modes, and weapons. Likewise, it would be nice to see the sequel to Destiny also launch on the PC platform.
