Bethesda has released a new update for Dishonored 2 that should fix and alleviate most of the performance issues gamers on the PC version have been dealing with since its release this past month.
The update, which was available as a beta earlier this week, adds a number of improvements to the game’s visual settings, allowing players to better depend on the “auto-detection” function to cater to their system specifications.
Issues with physics have also been fixed, so gamers playing Dishonored 2 on gaming monitors with resolutions upwards of 120hz will no longer encounter problems. Controls have also been improved, so the game should feel a lot more responsive.
The update also allows players to alt-tab from the game without crashing or experiencing an endless switch between games and other programs.
