Doom is currently on sale at a 50% discount on Steam. The game’s sale celebrates the release of the fourth major update for the game, which adds Arcade Mode and Classic SnapMap modules for players to create original Doom-style maps for others to play.
The new Arcade Mode transforms the campaign into a competitive, fast-paced score-based challenge. Every monster has a score associated with it, and every gun is automatically unlocked for players to go ham.
Additionally, there are two new multiplayer modes, including Possession, which pits prowler demons against marines, and Bloodrush, a new free-for-all mode.

The game’s second multiplayer DLC, Hell Followed, comes out on October 27.
