You’re going to need a bigger hard drive for your PS4 and Xbox One if you intend to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The game’s Legacy Edition requires 130GB of hard drive space for the two games it installs.
In case you aren’t already following the game’s development, the Legacy Edition includes both Infinite Warfare and the remastered version of Modern Warfare, with two campaigns and selection of multiplayer modes in total.
We don’t know if you’ll be able to install them separately, but retailers aren’t taking any chances with potential complaints about the lack of hard drive space, so they’ve suggested that players will require 130GB on the PS4 to install the games.
French retailer Micromania sent out these boxes to customers who pre-ordered the game early, along with code for Modern Warfare Remastered. The disc for Infinite Warfare will be released on November 4.
If you already have access to the games, Modern Warfare Remastered requires 40GB for the campaign. That’s currently available for download. The multiplayer will be added at a later date, and presumably requires 30GB of space.
Needless to say, you should upgrade your hard drive if you haven’t already.
