Bringing 4K resolutions and HDR standard to consoles, the PS4 Pro adds extra heft to the graphics of future releases, and improves the look of certain games already released on the system. During September’s Sony conference, many of the games that work better on the newly-christened PS4 Pro were revealed, and we’re here to keep a running tally of every game old and new (but especially old) that gets a boost of graphical power on the upgraded Playstation platform.
Let’s get this out of the way first — not every currently released game will offer the same improvements on PS4 Pro. Cleaner resolutions and better textures are promised, but without getting our hands on each individual game and testing, we don’t yet know how much better our current library of games will look on PS4 Pro. Still, Sony says the games listed below will get the most out of an upgrade. Here’s hoping the library of supported games continues to grow before November 10 and beyond. If (or when!) more upgraded titles are announced, we’ll add them right here to keep you up-to-date.
Playstation VR games will also get an upgrade on the PS4 Pro, though no game titles have been solidly confirmed at this time.
PS4 Pro Improved Games List
[UPDATED 1/10: Added games with confirmed PS4 Pro Patch — Mafia 3, various PSVR and others.]
Note: All PS4 games are compatible with the PS4 Pro, but not all games gain a graphical boost. Here you’ll find the games that take advantage of the PS4 Pro’s extra power.
Any game already in your PS4 library than can be upgraded on the PS4 Pro will feature a unique icon.
