There’s something really unique when it comes to live-action trailers for video games. While you lose out on the graphics and visuals that will be coming with the video game as it launches, you instead get a bit more story depth. If you haven’t already watched the latest live-action trailer for Mafia III, give it a watch through the video posted up above.
Mafia III is currently in the works under developers Hangar 13 and publishers 2K Games. The video game takes place in the late 1960s in a fictional city that resembles New Orleans, as players follow the protagonist Lincoln Clay.
Lincoln Clay is a Vietnam War veteran who decides to build a new crime organization that will confront the Italian mob, but there’s going to be massive obstacles that Clay will need to cross if he wishes to see his empire last.
Besides the latest live-action trailer, a new teaser was posted today that introduces gamers to Cassandra, one of Lincoln Clay’s lieutenants and the leader of the Haitian Syndicate. You can check out our post on the trailer right here.
As for when you can pick up a copy of Mafia III, so far the game is slated to launch on October 7, 2016, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
