EA has added fuel to the fire regarding Star Wars Battlefront 3.

At the start of this week, rumors spread that either DICE or Bungie was making the game for LucasFilm Games. And then Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer authoritatively claimed that DICE has snagged the contract, and that they’re making it with Respawn Entertainment.
EA has now said this in a company letter that they chose to make public:
In addition to our future Battlefield titles, we’ll be bringing together our Respawn and DICE studios to collaborate on a future project that will help us achieve that ambition. We can’t wait to share more when the time comes.
DICE is the dedicated studio for their Battlefield games, while Respawn is the studio that launched and supports Apex Legends. Obviously, EA would have to plan for both studios to be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously to make this work.
While EA didn’t name Star Wars Battlefront 3, very few projects would be worth taking the time out from Battlefield and Apex Legends. Variety’s sources have confirmed that this is precisely what they’re doing.
