There’s a big rumor for World of Darkness fans – but should they be happy about this or not?

As reported by Eurogamer, two sources have emerges claiming that a Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines remaster is in the works. This is not a full remake but a remaster of the 2004 PC original.
Sadly, one of the sources has pointed out that this remaster is being worked on at a time when projects like these can easily get cancelled, but this is still presumably still in the works.
While the World of Darkness started out as a tabletop role-playing game franchise, it has been owned by Paradox Interactive since 2015. That’s the same Paradox that released Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines2 to poor critical and commercial reception just last year.
Paradox has itself been facing numerous setbacks, but they may see this project as a way to reset their relationship with the franchise.
While these sources don’t cite any developers, it’s easy to see remake and remaster specialists NightDive Studios being hired to coax this 2004 classic to 2026, and console versions may also be on the way then.
