Callina Liang has really gotten fans buzzing for the Street Fighter Movie.
When she was initially announced to play Chun Li, the fans didn’t know much about her yet. To be honest, there was more buzz for the other actors in the cast.
There were the established names like Noah Centineo, 50 Cent, and Jason Momoa. Wrestling fans had Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Hirooki Goto.
And then, earlier this year, Callina revealed that she genuinely grew her thighs to enter the role of Chun Li. And that may have raised some prurient interests, but if you knew about fitness and bodybuilding, you would understand that this is an impressive, if unusual, achievement.
Callina posted new photos of herself BTS in the Street Fighter Movie on Instagram. She’s dressed in Chun Li’s classic cheongsam and boots outfit. One photo shows her posing in front of her trailer door, but there are also photos of her lying on the floor with broken bricks and film crew around her.
Another Instagram post shows Callina dropping stiff kicks, demonstrating she genuinely took all of this to heart. You couldn’t write a better promo for the Street Fighter Movie if you tried.
