Hideo Kojima just dropped off at the end of Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show event with a huge announcement.

After updating viewers on PHYSINT switching publishers from PlayStation to Xbox, he dropped a megaton; Bill Skarsgard is playing the lead role in the game.
The son of luminary Stellan Skarsgard, Bill is best known for playing Pennywise in the It films in 2017 and 2019, as well as the ongoing series It: Welcome To Derry.
Kojima unveiled new art featuring photo portraits of both Bill Skarsgard alongside co-star Charlee Fraser. This key art makes it clear; PHYSINT is definitely more than a video game, even if it is in the action spy genre.
This announcement also makes it clear why Kojima was acting so drastic to save PHYSINT that he was willing to even get in bed with PlayStation’s biggest rivals. And yes, Hideo Kojima confirmed that his meeting with Asha Sharma last April was when they had talks that led XBOX to publish PHYSINT.
