Bloober Team has revealed what appears to be their big Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive – and they’re not actually the developer.

They alluded to Project M for months, talking up how it is only possible on the Switch 2. They finally revealed in the recent Nintendo Direct that that game is ONYX: The Dark Grip, a dark adeventure game.
And as it turns out, ONYX: The Dark Grip is being developed by Broken Mirror Games, a Bloober subsidiary. Bloober is stepping in as publisher.
ONYX: The Dark Grip is made to take advantage of the Switch 2’s hardware features, and can only be played in handheld mode. Playing involves touching the screen, tilting the console, and blowing into the microphone.
All of this certainly makes it sound like ONYX: The Dark Grip is the spiritual successor to the horror and puzzle games on the DS and 3DS. Even with all the AAA titles coming to Nintendo’s platform, this could be worth paying attention to.
