Months after it was leaked, developer Iceflake Studios, publisher Paradox Interactive, and LEGO have officially revealed LEGO Skylines.

They provide this description:
Build a city where everything just clicks in LEGO® Skylines. In this cozy, customizable city-builder, your choices bring a living, breathing metropolis to life. Go big or obsess over the details. No instructions. Unlimited space. And there’s just one rule. Make it yours.
The trailer shows that the minifig characters will be much more prominent than in Paradox’s main Cities Skylines franchise. In fact, the game looks a lot more like a cross between SimCity and The Sims.
The description also suggests that players won’t have to worry about their LEGO cities operating efficiently. It may feel more like building a city with real LEGO pieces.
LEGO Skylines was first leaked by Korea’s game rating agency last May, but this reveal did turn out to still be a pleasant surprise. There’s no release dates on the horizon for now but you can watch the announcement trailer below.
