Nintendo has just published a substantial update for Splatoon 3.
Version 11.0.0 comes with really big gameplay changes, big enough that it could feel like a completely different game.

Nintendo added Flow Aura, which refills your ink levels if you’re able to splat multiple opponents very rapidly. This system ensures that if you’re on a roll, you can keep the momentum going and not have to take a hard stop to refill.
The game will now also let you see your opponent’s health bar as you splat them. The bat won’t appear if your opponent is hiding in ink or behind cover, but will otherwise give you feedback to finish off opponents quickly.
The Stealth Jump has been changed so that your flight time takes longer to finish. Launching time stays the same so you don’t get caught midway.
Player hit boxes have been made a little smaller, but weapons have been adjusted accordingly so that it’s not that harder to hit opponents.
These changes are gameplay based and apply to both Switch and Switch 2 players alike.
