Easily the most anticipated game coming out next year is Grand Theft Auto VI. Players can’t wait to dive into the latest installment of this beloved franchise. Over a decade has passed since the last major release. Fortunately, we knew that the development team at Rockstar Games was working on the upcoming title. It’s just that last week we found out that we’ll be waiting a little bit longer before we can get our hands on GTA 6.
We have over a year still to go before GTA 6 arrives. That’s, of course, if there are no further delays that arise. Regardless, we’re left waiting for this new installment in good faith, hoping that we’ll have it on time and before 2026 officially wraps up. Now that the delay announcement has circulated online, Rockstar Games has made adjustments to not only the trailers but also various social media banners.
GTA 6 Trailers Updated

Don’t go rushing off to YouTube in hopes that the new trailer update means new content. You won’t even find the trailers updated on YouTube for the Rockstar Games official channel. That said, some updates have been made to the trailers downloadable from the Rockstar Games website. Similarly, there are updates to social media banners.
This information comes to us thanks to Rockstar Intel. The publication has found that Rockstar Games has made some slight updates across the board that change the release date. As you are likely aware, the developers are rescheduling the launch from May to November 19, 2026. With this new release date in hand, Rockstar Games aims to ensure that any new downloads of the trailer or visits to their social media platforms will now promptly display the correct launch date.
That said, we’re still waiting for more marketing materials to highlight more GTA 6. Fortunately, we know that there will be plenty of content available for fans before the game launches into the marketplace. Now, whether that will be more content this year or next remains to be seen. We’ll just have to wait and see what Rockstar Games’ marketing team has in store for us at this point.
