If you’re enjoying the Nintendo Switch 2, then you might be eager to see what else is coming for it. There are not too many games we know are coming. Likewise, we’d love to know what else we can expect from third-party. Something is being cooked up, but what that is right now is anyone’s guess. Hopefully, a Nintendo Direct this month will clear the air.
That’s the thing so many players worldwide are waiting on. When will we get the next big Nintendo Direct? We don’t know right now. However, one industry insider has suggested that the presentation will take place this month. Despite us being ready to close out the month and start August, the insider is sticking with their previous statements.
Nintendo Direct Will Happen This Month
The insider from whom this information comes has a strong track record. We’re of course referring to NateTheHate. Recently, a user on X reached out to an insider in hopes of learning something new about the next Nintendo Direct. When asked if there is still an event planned for this month, NateTheHate noted that, as far as he knows, the event will still take place before August.
Of course, Nintendo is known for giving little to no notice about these presentations. We usually receive only a day’s notice, so it’s still very much in the realm of possibility that we’ll get a July Direct presentation. We’ll just have to monitor the various social media platforms from Nintendo as we wait for their official confirmation.
Again, what this upcoming Direct might offer us is also anyone’s guess. Nintendo is likely to have a few surprises in store for games that we can get excited about as we head into the fall season. However, beyond that, we can also expect a slew of new third-party ports and upcoming games confirmed to be heading to the Nintendo Switch 2.
That said, we’re sure that most of you are still busy playing away Nintendo’s latest game release, Donkey Kong Bananza. If you haven’t picked up a copy of the game, you’ll find our official Before You Buy coverage of the game in the video we have embedded below.
