Video games are not cheap. We’re starting to see $80 games now launch into the marketplace. So, it’s nice to see some services pop up that might offer you the best bang for your buck. One of those services that might be appealing to you is Xbox Game Pass. Not only are you given a slew of third-party releases, but all of Microsoft’s first-party games will launch on day one of the service.
If you’ve been subscribed very long to Xbox Game Pass, then you might already be fully aware of its release schedule. Monthly, we’ll get two sets of waves, with each wave bringing a collection of games to the service. The first wave of games is announced at the start of the month. Those titles will take you through until midway into the month. Then, around midway in, we’ll get the official announcement of the second wave of games.
Today, on the official Xbox Wire, we’re given the rundown of what games are heading our way for the second wave of June 2025. You’ll find quite the collection of titles that are either available right now or what games will be coming our way as we head into the month of July.

Hopefully, there is something in this list of games that piques your interest. Meanwhile, it’s worth pointing out that each wave announcement also comes with confirmation of what games are heading out of the service.
While first-party games will remain on the subscription service for players to enjoy at their leisure, the third-party games lineup is only available for a duration. Fortunately, there are some incentives here for players to purchase the games if they wish to keep them in their digital library. You’ll find that there is a 20% discount for games leaving the subscription service. All you need is an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass and purchase these titles before they officially leave the service. Additionally, if you need a refresher as to what else came to the service this month, you can check out the first wave of games right here.
