FromSoftware has a strong following, but its latest release was a massive hit. Elden Ring was played by so many and praised for the incredible work the development team put into this thrilling game. But beyond that, it left fans wanting more. While we don’t have an official sequel coming out, last year during The Game Awards, it was unveiled to the masses that FromSoftware has a spinoff game coming this year called Elden Ring Nightreign.
We don’t yet have a specific release date on Elden Ring Nightreign. However, we know that this game is made for players to work together in teams of three. Players are dropped into Limegrave within the game, where you’ll be dealing with three in-game days to prepare for a grand boss battle. It’s all about teamwork, although there will be a single-player option if you prefer to solo through this action RPG.
While plenty of players will undoubtedly be eager to play this game, a few lucky players will get a chance to try the title out ahead of everyone else. Bandai Namco Entertainment, the publisher of this upcoming game, has alerted fans that there is an upcoming network test. It’s noted that developers want to go through a preliminary verification test that will focus on some of the technical online systems.
This means you’ll get the chance to log into the game and test a portion of the gameplay experience. It’s an early small sneak peek of the game that will kick off next month for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. However, you’ll need to register to get a chance to be selected to participate. Those interested can check out the Bandai Namco Entertainment website to go through the registration process. In the meantime, you can view a trailer for the upcoming title in the video embedded below.
