The new year is now already a week in, and we’ve had some good and bad pieces of news over the last eight days. It’s truly a reminder that things can happen at almost any time, and we need to appreciate and treasure the blissful moments that arrive. For example, as noted on the team’s website, Innersloth is celebrating ten years of life! That’s right, the team behind Among Us, the games with Henry Stickman and more, are ten years old. Shall we get them a cake? That’s not sus. We think. Anyway, on the team’s official site, they posted a message thanking the fans for all they have done for them over the years.
“First things first, we’re excited to share that Innersloth just turned 10 years old! Technically, our 10th anniversary was on January 5th LOL but shhh…. We were still vacationing, so this is close enough.”
Indeed, it is close enough. Plus, who doesn’t need a vacation every once in a while? That’s what we thought. Continuing on with the celebration, the Innersloth co-founders wanted to personally thank everyone who helped the team along their journey:
“Hello everyone! Marcus and Forest here, we just wanted to give our biggest thanks to everyone for supporting Innersloth for the last ten years! Whether you were a fan from Dig2China or Among Us (maybe you even played Henry Stickmin on Newgrounds before Innersloth???), it’s been so wonderful to see everyone enjoy and play our games.”
They broke down even further the people they wanted to thank, including the first ten people from a certain country who joined the team’s Discord when it started, a key business partner who allowed the team to stay open during the pandemic, and more:
“We’re so excited to share all of it with you in the coming years. Anyways, idk what else to say so thank you again so much from Marcus, myself and everyone at Innersloth. Wiping my tears as I type ;-; For real though, thank you all for the support you’ve given us throughout the years! We look forward to many more birthdays and we’re happy we get to celebrate with all you cool beans.”
See? This is the kind of news story we love to write because it’s about someone being truly happy in their gaming journey. Or, in this case, a team celebrating a key milestone while continuing to make it in the gaming world. Innersloth has done a great job in the most trying of times, and that’s something to indeed be celebrated.
