Avowed Premium Edition Will Let You Play The Game Early

November 15, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Pre-orders are now live.

Avowed is quite an anticipated game from the talented folks at Obsidian Entertainment. But if you want to get access to the game ahead of its official release, there’s an option available. Pre-ordering the game’s premium edition will grant you access to the gameplay experience five days early. If you are interested, pre-orders for this premium edition are now available.

We don’t have to wait too long before we can dive into this new upcoming fantasy RPG. It’s set to launch on February 18, 2025. But taking to the Xbox Wire, Shyla Schofield, the senior communications manager for Obsidian Entertainment, has alerted fans that they have a premium edition for the game. This edition has a few extra bits of content to hopefully entice you to spend a little more money for the game.

With this edition of Avowed, you’ll find two premium skin packs, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack. But beyond that, there is access to the game five days early. That will give you a head start from the rest who are waiting to jump into this game with the standard edition. Of course, for some, those extra goodies might not be enticing enough to fork out $89.99, especially for digital content.

If you’re keen on collecting physical copies of games, there is an Avowed premium edition with a physical steelbook. This comes with everything mentioned alongside a steelbook and a map of the Living Lands. Fortunately, it does feature a base game digital code, so you’ll still gain access to the five days of early access.

As mentioned, the upcoming game is set to launch on February 18, 2025. However, we recently learned why Xbox pushed this game out of the 2024 calendar year. What might surprise you is that this wasn’t due to any real need from the developers to ensure the game was optimized for the PC or Xbox Series X/S platforms. You can read more about that right here.
