More Slitterhead Combat Skills and Characters Revealed

October 2, 2024 by Carley Garcia

Bokeh Game Studio also details the terrifying Mong Tsui stage.

Bokeh Game Studio continues to reveal more haunting details about the upcoming action-adventure title Slitterhead, this time showing off three more characters, additional combat skills, and one of the title’s stages (via Gematsu).

The characters introduced include Anita, who works in a massage parlor run by the Golden Qilin criminal organization; Michelle, the manager of the Moon Flower nightclub; and Edo, a homeless man living on the streets of Kowlong.

Players can look forward to using their Blood Weapon skill to perform a series of consecutive attacks against the terrifying monsters found in the game. “While in stance with the weapon, the player will be able to block most enemy attacks, allowing them to follow up with a powerful counter strike. However, blocking too many times will cause the weapon to break, causing the player to lose a small amount of health each time,” the description reads.

Recently Bokeh detailed the unique Sightjack system in Slitterhead. “If you get close enough to an enemy presence, you can steal a glance through their field of vision,” the press release reads. “Using scenery characteristics, their general location can be guessed, such as if they are in an alley or on a rooftop, etc.”

Bokeh also introduced ‘Mong Tsui,’ described as “an area where not only the Slitterheads disguised as humans are lurking about, but even the ordinary inhabitants tend to be suspicious.” Filled with criminal organizations and brothels, it will likely be one of the more dangerous areas in the game.

First announced at The Game Awards 2021, Slitterhead has been at the top of many gamer’s wish lists for the past three years. Given the legacy of Silent Hill, the action-adventure horror title is sure to make an impression, as Bokeh Game Studio’s Sato Kazunobu has teased that players will be forced to make “sacrifices,” with some of them being “quite nasty.”

Slitterhead will be released on November 8 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
