Forza Motorsport Reveals Jam-Packed 2024 Roadmap

August 30, 2024 by Carley Garcia

New tracks, a reworked Spectate Mode, and much more is on the way.

In October 2023, Forza Motorsport sped onto PC and Xbox Series X/S, impressing racing sim fans by introducing over 500 vehicles and 20 tracks at launch. Despite a few hiccups, including frustration over the game’s car progression mechanic, the game has grown to be loved by racing enthusiasts, and Team 10 Studios has revealed plenty of new content to keep the community happy.

In a new blog post on the official Forza Motorsport website, the dev team highlights what players can expect to see added to the game through the end of 2024. Starting with the game’s next update, reward cars for each update can be earned by competing in the Featured Tour in Career Mode or by playing a certain number of races in Featured Multiplayer. This comes in response to players wanting more options when it comes to unlocking new vehicles.

Two additional tracks will be added to the game before the end of the year. These include Sunset Peninsula, which first appeared in Forza Motorsport 4, and Bathurst.

Team 10 explains that the team is almost finished with a reworked Spectate Mode.

“This initial version builds upon our previous efforts and includes many new features and improvements that have been requested by the community,” the post reads.

“We appreciate that this one has been a long time coming, especially for our tournament organizers and league admins, however we hope some of the notable upgrades over the prior Spectate mode in Forza Motorsport 7 will make it more enjoyable, easier and engaging to use.”

The new mode will include new camera options, a customizable HUD, driver data, and much more.

Other additions announced in the roadmap include more weather customization options, updates to Forza Race Regulations, and a more advanced ghosting system.

Forza Motorsport, the thirteenth main installment in the long-running Forza series, was released in October 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
