The Stardew Valley Cook Book Is Touching Lives

April 30, 2024 by Faith Lane

This is gonna be tasty.

Stardew Valley is releasing its very own official cookbook, featuring meals that are recognizable from the popular indie video game. The book is about 200 pages long and features recipes from each different season, reminding us all of the different crops that can be gardened during different times of the year in the game, according to Polygon.

The game has just recently had a big update come its way that brought some features that players had been asking for for a while, like being able to move your farmhouse and many other things. The official cookbook, which is created by the one-man team behind Stardew Valley, will be released on May 14, and this is when players can begin creating the amazing-looking recipes that the game offers.

The book itself contains a total of 50 different recipes inspired by Stardew Valley, based on the harvestable ingredients the game offers. Every single dish is inspired by one in the game already, but on top of that, if you pay close enough attention, they also pay respect to the characters in the game. Each recipe belongs to a character, and the book tells you which one it belongs to, which is just a way that the cookbook is even more adorable.

This book is definitely one of the cutest when it comes to video game recipe books, and it is no joke that many will begin making their own versions of these recipes the first day they come out.
