Humble Bundle Offering Nintendo Themed Bundle

April 26, 2016 by Dennis Patrick

Nintendo Humble Bundle offers video games for the 3DS and Wii U.

Citizens-of-Earth-2

Nintendo doesn’t often partner up with Humble Bundle, in fact, this will be the second time the two have struck a deal. This new bundle is offering a number of video games for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. As always, it’s completely up to the gamers to determine just how much money they wish to toss towards the bundle in order to receive the various video games.

Previously, the Nintendo themed Humble Bundle featured a number of indie video game titles Nintendo supports. Unfortunately, that particular bundle was only available for gamers within America, however, this time around the new bundle, which is known as the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle, is available for both America and Europe.

Just like the previous Humble Bundles, gamers will have to pay at least $1 for the first tier of video games while the second tier unlocks the next set of video games if gamers pay the more than the average fee.

The charities that this bundle is supported are SOS Children’s Villages International and Code.org.

“SOS Children’s Villages International believes that every child deserves a loving home. We build families for orphaned, abandoned, and other vulnerable children in 134 countries and territories. Founded in 1949, we provide children with the love and long-term support needed to shape their own futures – a stable family, quality medical care and the opportunity to learn. Through our family support and care programs, medical centers, schools and emergency relief efforts we impact the lives of over 1 million people annually.”

“Code.org is a non-profit dedicated to expanding participation in computer science by making it available in more schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. Code.org’s comprehensive approach represents the vanguard of effective integration of Computer Science (CS) into the core of public school education. Our vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. We believe computer science and computer programming should be part of the core curriculum in education, alongside other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) courses, such as biology, physics, chemistry and algebra.”

A portion of the money can go to these charities which may give gamers an incentive to pay more than the minimum to unlock the various video games. Take a look down below to see what video games are currently being offered or check out the Humble Bundle for yourself here.
