Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a survival zombie, while the popularity of the game didn’t take off like it should have, the game has definitely gained up some more traction. This game is now considered one of the best zombie games to purchase currently, alongside others like 7 Days To Die.
This post-apocalyptic game has received many important updates which have helped more people want to play it as the gameplay has improved. However, in a interview recently Tymon Skemktala, who is a director for the franchise discussed some details about the studio and how they had a “secret formula” for it.
Something to note is that Dying Light 2 is more than 2 years old currently, but the game holds one million monthly active players, which is an impressive amount for a game like this. Smektala recently said in a interview that; “I think the key here is our unique relation with our community. When we win, we celebrate together, when we fail our community is supportive and helpful, we treat each other with respect and understanding. We’re very open with our community, giving them space and tools to directly communicate with us. This is our “secret formula”, this is what works for us.”
With the success of the game still going strong, it is unknown whether or not there might be a second game in the works coming soon. While a lot of us hope so, there is still telling. The last big expansion for the game was in February 2022, and nothing big has really happened with the game since then.
