Bloodborne has been one of the more anticipated game franchises that have yet to receive a PC port or a new installment. There is certainly a massive fan base for this IP, and we hope it will reach the limelight again. However, it looks like there is already a complete PC build of the game, and it’s been available for years. The only problem is that you’ll apparently get to play it.
A new tweet from Lance McDonald has quite a few fans talking about Bloodborne all over again. Lance is known for digging into files for video games and uncovering new tidbits of information. His latest tweet that surprised some fans was the reveal that Bloodborne has a fully complete PC build of the game. Apparently, this comes from an image supplied on the Bloodborne fandom Wiki.
The artist Marcos Domenech helped design some of the Bloodborne environments for FromSoftware. Fortunately, Marcos uploaded some screenshots using a debug camera to the fandom wiki. That’s when Lance noticed that the screenshot was taken from a debug camera on Windows. Furthermore, the images come from the Fishing Hamlet, which proved that Marcos Domenech has the entire PC build of Bloodborne.
The screenshots are named “SPRJ-wni64” which is the file name convention the game uses when you take a screenshot in the debug menu. They’re also clearly taken using the debug camera, which no one had access to until I released my patch like a month ago. The screenshots are from Fishing Hamlet so it’s literally the full game + DLC running on PC.

This is not the first time we have heard about a PC build of the game, but what makes this discovery so unique is that this proves that this is the entire game with DLC running on PC. With that said, Lance did note that this is a build that was never meant to land into the public, so it’s left some wondering if the build might get picked up and treated for a future release now that Sony is allowing exclusives to land on the PC.
After all, we have heard rumors in the past that a project was in the works for the Bloodborne IP, but nothing official has been unveiled just yet. Meanwhile, for some wondering why Bloodborne has a PC build already, it’s speculated that this was just used for internally testing the game rather than using console dev kits. Still, with so much love and anticipation of FromSoftware going back to this IP, there are likely quite a few fans wondering if Bloodborne will get any kind of showcasing during this week’s PlayStation Showcase.
