If you enjoy Hearthstone then chances are you may have noticed that patch 4.2.0 has been released online granting gamers with a slew of new additions to the game. Not only are Hearthstone players given the option to pick up a brand new Paladin hero, but there are a few notable changes gamers will see once they start up the game. Take a look at the rundown as to what all patch 4.2.0 has brought into the game.
Lady Liadrin
Lady Liadrin is a new alternative Paladin Hero. She appears within World of Warcraft as the leader of the Blood Knights and according to a Blizzard representative on Reddit, she will be free to obtain though it’s unclear just how gamers can earn the alternative hero though the game World of Warcraft will be involved.
Storefront
The storefront will be receiving some changes as well. For starters, there is now a notice to alert players of the adventure expansion Naxxramas will soon be leaving the store along with the card set Goblins vs. Gnomes.
Deck Slots
There will now be more deck slots available for players. Now gamers can make up a total of eighteen custom decks of their choosing.
Card Backs
Several card backs have been changed including Legacy of the Void, Thunder Bluff, Thrall, Winter Veil Wreath, along with three new card backs Eyes of C’Thun, Hogger, and Overwatch.
Whispers of the Old Gods
Lastly, gamers can now pre-purchase the card pack Whispers of the Old Gods for $49.99. This will grant players with a 50-pack bundle from the Whispers of the Old Gods card set and a special card back though these packs cannot be opened until the new card set expansion officially launches.
