Apex Legends Season 16 Details Has Reportedly Surfaced Online

January 18, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s what we can expect.

There are plenty of battle royale video game titles out there. Of course, you can find quite a few free-to-play options as well. But there are a few chosen titles that consistently gets ranked high on a list of recommended game titles. Apex Legends is one of those video games that continues to bring out an active community of players regularly. Respawn Entertainment is getting ready to celebrate the fourth anniversary of this game, and with it comes season 16. Today, we’re finding some information about what we can expect for the game this coming month.

Insider Gaming has reported a few details about the future of Apex Legends. Using their own sources, Insider Gaming stated that there is an anniversary event coming, which Respawn Entertainment will kick off with season 16. While the new season anniversary event is set for February 14, 2023, it looks like there is some incentive to jump into the game beforehand. According to the report by Insider Gaming, players will be introduced to the Celestial Sunrise Collection Event. This will grant players 24 different Collection event items. But even further than that, there are rumors that we’ll find the release of the Hardcore game mode.

If you haven’t heard about this rumored game mode, it’s been something fans have waited on since last year. The current expectation is that this new mode would remove HUD, feature fewer ammo drops, health items, stronger damage attacks, and only feature white shields. That should make for even more chaotic gameplay experiences if this game mode actually does release. But again, that’s purely rumored right now, and we’re waiting on the actual confirmation to come out from the development team.

While we’re getting ready for the next season and anniversary of Apex Legends, there are already some reports for the following event. Again, as reported by Insider Gaming, March 7, 2023, will see the release of the Imperial Guard Collection Event, which will also retheme Wraith heirloom. Again, we’re still waiting for more information to roll in on that front.

With all that said, if you haven’t given Apex Legends a shot, this game is completely free to enjoy. So if you just want to give it a chance without putting any money into the experience, you can do so now. Players can download the game on PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Android, and iOS platforms.
