Fire Emblem Heroes Getting Update Next Week

November 1, 2022 by Todd Black

What will this next update bring?

When Nintendo promised gamers that they would bring their IP to the mobile market, fans were excited. After all, the mobile market was easily accessible because everyone had cell phones, and they wanted to have these IPs be “reborn” in mobile devices to see what they would become. If you were to ask the gamers what title or IP would be the most successful on mobile devices, you’d likely have said Mario, Pikmin, Super Smash Bros, Legend of Zelda, etc. But while some of those games did get mobile titles, the true king of Nintendo mobile games is Fire Emblem Heroes.

If you’re saying, “wait, what about Pokemon Go?” you need to remember that title is owned by Niantic and The Pokemon Company, not Nintendo. Fire Emblem Heroes has been going on for years now, and it continues to grow and expand in numerous ways. Each update for the title brings gamers new items, improvements, and so on. For example, update 6.11.0 will arrive next week, and the patch notes for it paint an interesting picture of what will come.

In it, multiple legendary and mythic heroes will get new skills for players. You’ll want to check out the full patch notes to see what is coming and whether they’ll be helpful to you for your combat strategy. Another thing the update will bring is new memento events. We’ll also get some new combat manuals for a limited time if you have the right materials.

If you’ve been hoping for improvements with the weapon refinery, you’re in luck because some new weapons will be up for crafting, and new heroes will get special refinements. Many of the game’s main modes will be updated, too, like with Aether Raids, Summoner Duels, and so on. The new update will come on November 6th, so be ready for when it arrives to take advantage of the new perks you’ll have access to.

Why has Fire Emblem Heroes been so popular with gamers? That is a good question, and it’s something that no fan could’ve predicted when the title arrived. Mainly because the game, at its core, is different from the main titles on console in terms of story, gameplay, etc. You only have four characters you can use in a fight, and they have a level cap. You can outfit with various skills, mix and match, and more.

But the real kicker is the “gatcha” element. In the game, you can summon other characters from the franchise via orbs. The character you get is random. So you could get a new character or one you’ve gotten before. Unfortunately, the process of getting these characters is addicting, and many have “fallen into the trap” of buying extra orbs so they can get more heroes.

Plus, some of those heroes aren’t exactly dressed in a functional manner, if you get our drift.
