Things are getting even spookier in the world of GTA Online this week. Rockstar Games has today revealed that it’s going to be adding even more creepy seasonal content into the game. On top of the current Halloween activities and additions, the streets of Los Santos are about to be stalked by the Clone Slasher, amongst other exciting new tricks and treats.
Players will want to make sure they stop at Benny’s Original Motor Works, where this week they’ll be able to pick up the brand new 70’s-inspired BF Weevil Custom vehicle. This seasonal ride has been decked out in GTA Online‘s best Halloween finery and comes ready to roll with flame decals and menacing roof spikes.
Alongside the new creepy custom vehicles, players can pick up a number of additional rare items in GTA Online this week. Top of the list to get a hold of over the next few days has to be the rare Sasquatch Outfit. Luckily, all players can obtain it for free as long as they remember to log in and play GTA Online on October 31. All players will also be able to get their hands on the Death Mask from Judgement Day, which is also up for grabs this week. This will complement the game’s existing Judgement Day mode, which has been running all month long in GTA Online. The mode will also reward players with 2X GTA$ and 2X RP this week, alongside a number of other new modes that are being added into the action.
Amongst these are the Halloween Bunker Series and three other Halloween-themed modes, Condemned, Come Out to Play and Loot vs. Damned. Condemned will see one player marked for death, who can either choose to die as the clock runs down or choose to infect those around them with the deadly curse, which is nice of them. Come Out to Play is a beat-the-clock style mode in which players must get back to their bases as quickly as possible whilst being hunted down. Finally, Loot vs. Damned will see players face off in teams of either devils or angels as they compete for points during a speedy day/night cycle.
Rockstar is also planning to ramp up player paranoia over the coming week with driverless vehicles and bizarre figures stalking people around the streets of Los Santos; the Clone Slasher will be hard at work. Players can also pick up some additional reward items, such as the Halloween Chute Bag for completing Sell missions and the Pale Vintage Mummy mask or the Green Vintage Frank mask for delivering Cargo during a Business Battle. GTA Online is available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
