The first screenshots of PlatinumGames’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan have been revealed.
Whether it’s Murakami-Wolf Productions, Archie Comics, or Michael Bay, everyone who gets their hands on the Turtles makes them "their own", and PlatinumGames is no different. Their rendition, seen above, uses cel shading, but the style as you can see isn’t the same as Mirage Studios' look. These Turtles also lean towards the slim side, an ideal body type for PlatinumGames playable characters. Curiously, they don't seem to be shy about wearing headsets and other gear on top of their eye masks. It isn't clear yet what those are for but they are interesting nonetheless.
The screenshots show all four turtles taking on Bebop, some Foot Soldiers, and what appears to be a Rock Soldier. Backgrounds also vary, from the expected sewers, subway, a bank vault, a building in construction (reminiscent of the old Konami beat-em-ups) and out in the streets.
