The 18th annual Independent Games Festival judges have announced the finalists for this year’s round of awards. According to the IGF, these awards honor “the most influential, innovative and exemplary projects in independent game development.”

For the full list of awards, make sure to check out the IGF’s website. The awards are a great way to find games that may have been gotten lost in the coverage of larger AAA or more mainstream indie titles from last year. Mini Metro, That Dragon, Cancer, and Infinifactory are all definitely worth a look.
