Microsoft has revealed that ReCore will be released at the second half of 2016.
A Microsoft spokesperson shared this statement:
We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore however the game will be ready in the latter half of 2016. We'll have more to share soon on ReCore, please stay tuned.
It’s factually inaccurate to refer to this as a delay; given that neither Microsoft nor Armature gave a certain release date for the game. Still, if you were hoping to see this game come out sooner, it won’t be the case, unfortunately.
This also follows recent news that Scalebound would be delayed to next year. Given that the Xbox One does still enjoy a steady stream of multiplatform games, and it’s still loaded with big name exclusives this year, including Crackdown 3 and Quantum Break, it’s not as dire as it appears at first glance.
There's also the possibility that Armature is getting a little extra time to work on both the Windows 10 and Xbox One versions to ensure they're both of the utmost quality, or at least consistent.
