The latest Final Fantasy XIV Online patch is here, and with it comes a new Free Login Campaign. Any user with a valid Sqare Enix account can play FF XIV for free for the entire month of December. The campaign ends at 6:59am PST on December 31. What a way to ring in the new year.
There are a few eligibility rules: users must have previously purchased and registered FF XIV, registered services accounts are set as inactive during the campaign, and at least thirty days must have passed since the account to be used has been set as inactive. The free login period lasts for four days and ends at 11:59pm local time on the fourth day after the first login. After that, a subscription to FF XIV will be required to continue enjoying the game.
