Everyone’s favorite post-apocalyptic rocket-powered battle-car soccer game (whew) is getting another DLC. Rocket League: Chaos Run’s release is scheduled for early December. If you couldn’t get enough of Mad Max, it might be worth a look.
According to the PlayStation blog, the DLC will include the following brand new features:
2 New Battle-Cars, Ripper and Grog
12 New Decals (six for each new Battle-Car)
2 New Paint Types (Camo and Sun-Damaged)
2 New Wheels (Ripper and Grog)
2 New Rocket Trails (Sandstorm, Nuts and Bolts)
3 New Toppers (Boombox, Cow Skull, Mohawk)
3 New Antennas (Bomb Pole, Radioactive, Retro Ball – Wasteland)
5 New Trophies
While the DLC costs $3.99, it will come with a few free items: new music, Garage items, and an arena called Wasteland. While it’s similar to other arenas, Wasteland will be the first “non-regulation” pitch in Rocket League: it’s wider than all of the other stadiums and the ground is sloped. Psyonix hopes to include more non-traditional stadiums in the future. Here’s to more announcements in the coming weeks.
The well-reviewed Rocket League initially launched on July 7 for PS4 and PC. Enjoy the below DLC trailer for a glimpse of the kind of fun this game promises.
