Rocket League Update Coming This Week

July 27, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new update for the game comes with a host of bug fixes.

Rocket League will be getting patched up with a host of new fixes that alleviate a number of issues players have been complaining about since its release.

The game's 1.03 patch will be released sometime this week and includes the following fixes. This list is by no means complete, and more fixes will be listed once the patch passes certification.

  • Multiple crash fixes for Steam users included in patch v1.03
  • Optimizations in the v1.03 patch (and future patches) that should improve our Main Menu rendering to lower how quickly the fan activates when staying on the Main Menu for too long
  • The news ticker should now update properly
  • Fix for the “Far, Far Away…” achievement tracking
  • Fix for the “Virtuoso” Steam achievement
  • The patch will reduce the number of instances in which some cars become invisible

Developer Psyonix says that they plan to add new server regions for the game and have suggested for players to always choose the server location closest to where they live to avoid lag.
