DICE has announced that it plans to delay the launch of Mirror's Edge Catalyst to May 24th, 2016.
The game was originally due to be released on February 23rd.
On the game's website, senior producer Sara Jansson commented "we’ve made the decision to bring Mirror’s Edge to the world starting May 24, 2016. We will use these few extra months to make sure that when you step into the massive City of Glass and experience the rise of Faith, it’s as entertaining, impressive, and memorable as it can be."
Jansson said the development team wants to create a world with more immersive free running action and a more engaging story.
A pre-order of any version of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will earn you the Combat Runner Kit or the Speed Runner Kit, while pre-orders for the digital download version of the game will earn you both the Combat Runner Kit and the Speed Runner Kit. A $200 collector's edition is also available.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
