This is the news that fans have been begging for–Halo Infinite’s co-op mode is just around the corner. While fans will be able to give this co-op mode a crack in July, this will only be the beta. We hate to be the bearer of bad news.
343 Industries announced this today, telling fans they could experience the “test flight” (the beta) for now, before the game mode is properly released later in the year. It would be a surprise to see them actually stick to that timeframe, sadly.
There will be a long list of people that will want to test out the beta for Halo Infinite’s co-op mode, and if you are one of them, you’ll need to follow certain rules. Players will have to register to become a Halo insider–this program is what the developers call the “official way for Halo fans and community members to partner with 343 Industries to help improve our games, products, and services.” Register to become an insider here.
When players have finished that, they will be asked to add some pretty standard information into the sign-up form. Next, all they’ll be able to do is keep their fingers and toes crossed for a reply from the higher-ups in the Halo world telling them what’s next and when it’s going to happen.
Fans of the franchise will know that Halo Infinite has been a bit of a mixed bag, facing numerous problems since it was launched in November last year. Players have raised concerns over the countless issues and lack of content updates, along with a terrible battle pass offer. The developers have always said they plan to improve the situation; more than once. Let’s hope this new co-op beta solves all the problems that have been tormenting fans since the beginning.
