Gearbox’s next game Battleborn may be a multiplayer-oriented FPS, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a story.
The studio released a new video for the game today introducing gamers to a spooky looking dude named Lord Commander Lothar Rendain, who’s ostensibly the game’s primary antagonist. Check it out below.
In Battleborn, players will cooperate together to take on the game’s multiplayer campaign, but unlike the studio’s previous outing Borderlands 2, players will have their levels reset after every mission—kind of like in a MOBA.
Players can choose from one of 25 distinct characters to play as, and you’ll be able to customize each of them with skins.
The game is set for release on February 9, 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
