The much anticipated tactical turn-based RPG Marvel: Midnight Suns appears to be nearing release.
Midnight Sun has been given its age-based rating by the South Korean Games Content Classification Committee. It’s quite promising though as usually, games are only sent in for this rating when they are complete or close to complete.
The game was originally due to release around March of this year but has subsequently seen delays, this explains why there has been such renewed enthusiasm around its supposed release.
Reddit User LongJohnSilver was the first to spot the classification, snapping a screenshot and uploading it to the web-based community board.
For those not in the know, Midnight Sun is a turn-based RPG card game that will likely be available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. It features open-world elements coupled with what’s been referred to as a new type of gameplay mechanic that uses cards to assign special abilities. The teaser trailers promise a rich and engaging storyline coupled with detailed graphics and an interesting playstyle.
This is all speculation of course but what fun would a Marvel game be without a bit of pre-game hype to drive up interest. If you’re interested in finding out more or just watching a great teaser trailer then check out the videos below.
