Bloodhunt: How to Revive Your Teammates | Respawn Guide

May 10, 2022 by Peter Hunt Szpytek

I’m not leaving you here.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt is the latest entry in the free-to-play battle royale genre exclusive to the PS5 and PC. While it has plenty of differences from other games in the genre with its vampire aesthetic and dark tone, a lot of Bloodhunt‘s central mechanics have a lot in common with the likes of Fortnite and Apex Legends.

Players can experience the game solo or with a team but the game varies slightly depending on that choice. For example, if you’re killed while playing solo, you get at least one revive as a chance to start the game again. When playing in a team, that automatic revive isn’t an option. Because of this, many have assumed that being killed when playing squads means that you’re out of the game forever. Luckily, that isn’t the case.

How to Revive Teammates in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt

All clans and clan skills in Bloodhunt explained - Dot Esports

There are two ways to revive your teammates if they take too much damage in Bloodhunt. The first is much easier than the second: if they get downed, they’ll be crawling on their hands and knees. If you’re still up, take care of the threat that downed your teammate, and then use the interact key/button to get them back on their feet. They’ll need some healing items and armor again, but those items aren’t particularly difficult to find in the early to mid-stages of a match.

If they get killed after being down either from taking too much damage or being downed for too long, things get a little bit trickier.

Like in other battle royales, the player has the option to revive their dead teammates, but it puts them in harm’s way. To do so, head to any of the white crosses scattered across the map. Obviously, as the red mist closes in, there will be fewer revive areas to take advantage of, so make sure you pick one that won’t get swallowed up while you’re bringing your teammate back to life.

Go to a cross on the map and scan the area. You should see a white light indicating a spot of interest. Head over to it and you’ll come across white mist in a small area which is the revive spot. Hold the interact key and your teammate will come back good as new. The problem is that it takes upwards of ten seconds to bring someone back and the entire time you’re doing it, you’re completely exposed.

What’s more, after using a revive spot, it disappears meaning that enemies in the area are able to triangulate your location based on the fact that a revive area disappeared. This puts you and your entire squad at risk, but regaining a dead teammate is generally worth it.
